CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – GAMEWEEK 7

Atletico Madrid vs Bayer Leverkusen

With two games left in the Champions League group stage, Atlético Madrid are chasing a top-eight spot and could leapfrog Bayer Leverkusen with a win. Atlético’s strong home form in Europe (W8, D4 in their last 13) and unbeaten home record against Leverkusen give them an edge, despite a recent 1-0 La Liga loss to Leganés. Leverkusen, however, arrive in red-hot form, unbeaten in five matches against Spanish teams and on an 11-game winning streak. Yet, their poor record in Spain and shaky UCL away form (one win in six) may hold them back. Expect a tight game, with second-half goals likely.

We like Atletico to get a result here. Check our Atletico Madrid vs Bayer Leverkusen markets here.

Prediction: Atletico +0 @ 1.78

Club Brugge vs Juventus

Club Brugge, holding a three-point cushion in the top 24, could secure a UCL play-off spot with a win against Juventus, who sit just one point ahead. Brugge’s strong home form, including two consecutive UCL victories, and a five-game winning streak across competitions make them contenders to break Belgium’s UCL drought against Italian teams, which dates back to 2003. However, with just six goals in the group stage, they face a tough challenge against Juventus, whose defensive solidity has delivered back-to-back UCL clean sheets. Juventus ended a four-game winless streak by beating AC Milan 2-0 but have struggled to convert draws into wins, with six of their last seven away games ending level. Expect a tight contest.

We feel a draw is a likely result here and worth a punt. Check our Club Brugge vs Juventus markets here.

Prediction: Draw @ 3.25

PSG vs Manchester City

Wednesday night features a high-stakes clash between PSG and Manchester City, two of Europe’s wealthiest clubs, both struggling to find their rhythm this season. PSG, still chasing their first UCL title, sit outside the top 24 and have only one win in their last seven European games against City (D2, L4). Despite solid home form domestically, their recent UCL home record (W1, D1, L3) exposes their struggles against top-tier teams. City, meanwhile, are winless in three UCL matches (D1, L2) and face the possibility of an early exit for the first time since 2012/13. Their poor away form, coupled with Guardiola’s past struggles against Luis Enrique’s teams, adds to the intrigue. Check our PSG vs Manchester City markets here.

Prediction: BTTS Yes & O2.5 Goals @ 1.69

Celtic vs Young Boys

Celtic, on track for their 55th Scottish Championship, return to UCL action aiming to secure a play-off spot, buoyed by a four-game unbeaten streak (W1, D3). Their fortress at home, where they haven’t lost since 2023, and a dominant record against Swiss teams (W8, D1), make them overwhelming jollies against a Young Boys side already eliminated and without a point in the group. Young Boys’ struggles extend beyond Europe, as they sit in the bottom half of their domestic league and have never won away against Scottish opposition. Celtic’s Daizen Maeda is in stellar form, contributing to six goals in six games, while Young Boys’ Silvere Ganvoula has six goals this season but rarely in winning efforts. Prediction: Celtic & BTTS No @ 2.56
