PREMIER LEAGUE - WEEK 6

Newcastle vs Man City

The champions travel to St. James’s Park for the early kick-off on Saturday, looking to cement their position at the top of the league. They will have to do without their midfield general, Rodri, who will miss the rest of the season.

The Magpies will look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat away to Fulham last weekend. While they have three wins from five games this season, they have not looked convincing. They are unbeaten in their last ten home games in the league and will look to keep it tight today. Check our Newcastle vs Man City markets here.

Prediction – Under 3.0 @ 2.08

Arsenal vs Leicester

The Foxes arrive at the Emirates having won just one of their last twenty six away league games against Arsenal. They remain winless in their five Premier League games so far this season and will be up against it today.

The Gunners thumped Bolton in the EFL cup on Wednesday and will look to build on their 2-2 draw away to Man City last Sunday, where the concession of a last-minute equalizer cost them all three points. Check our Arsenal vs Leicester markets here.

Prediction – Under 2.75 @ 2.33

Wolves vs Liverpool

The Reds visit a Wolves side stuck to the bottom of the league with four defeats out of five and a goal difference of -9. While these stats make grim reading, Wolves have taken the lead in their last two EPL games, so some positives can be taken from their recent performances.

Liverpool responded well to their defeat against Notts Forest a few weeks back, with convincing wins in the league and Europe and a midweek trouncing of West Ham in the EFL Cup. I think this game will be tighter than the betting suggests, and I fancy the home team to make it a contest. Check our Wolves vs. Liverpool markets here.

Prediction – Wolves +1.25 @ 2.16

Ipswich vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa make the trip to Portman Road Stadium in fine form having won their previous five games in all competitions, having scored at 2 or more goals in each of these games. Jhon Duran and Ollie Watkins have been particularly impressive, finding the net plenty of times between them.

Ipswich are still to record a Premier League win, with their three points coming from three consecutive draws. They are improving every week, conceding just two goals in the last three games.

While Aston Villa are undeniable favourites, lying third in the table, I expect the Tractor Boys to put up a steady effort defensively. I’m going for a steady Villa win. Check our Ipswich vs Aston Villa markets here.

Prediction – Aston Villa 1x2 and Under 3.5 goals @2.70

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Manchester United hosts Tottenham at Old Trafford. Both teams are desperate for points after a below-par start to the season. They are locked on seven points and lie in 11th and 10th place, respectively.

Draws against Crystal Palace and FC Twente in their last two matches have dampened the mood at Manchester Utd. Failure to win this fixture would make it three games without a win and would pile even more pressure on manager Erik Ten Hag.

It looks like Tottenham has turned a corner. They have won their last three in all competitions and impressively beat Qarabag 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday despite being down to 10 men for 82 minutes.

This is a tough one to call. I expect Manchester United to improve from a poor showing midweek, but with Spurs' good run of form, I think they are good value to upset the hosts. Check our Manchester United vs Tottenham markets here.

Prediction – Tottenham 1x2 @ 2.86

Bournemouth vs Southampton

It’s a South Coast derby on Monday night when Bournemouth hosts Southampton at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth will be looking to turn things around after losing to Liverpool and Chelsea in their last two games. The Cherries have five points and sit in 13th place in the league.

Southampton finally managed to get a point on the board last time out with a 1-1 draw at home to Ipswich. The Saints will be looking for their first win of the season, which will likely see them jump out of the relegation zone.

Southampton have been poor away from home, losing to 10-man Newcastle 1-0 and Brentford 3-1. They have also scored the fewest goals out of all teams in the league (2). I expect a Bournemouth win in a low-scoring affair. Check our Bournemouth vs. Southampton markets here.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1x2 and Under 3.5 goals @ 2.76

Recommended Treble:

Wolves +0.5 @ 3.33

Tottenham 1x2 @ 2.86

Bournemouth 1x2 and Under 3.5 goals @ 2.76
