NFL - WEEK 7

Denver Broncos (3-3) @ New Orleans Saints (2-4)

It has been a season of low-scoring games for the Broncos. While they rank just 25th in the NFL in scoring their defence ranks 4th in scoring defence. Despite their phenomenal defence they only have a 3-3 record to show for it and QB Bo Nix will be looking to improve in recent weeks if they are to turn more of those great defensive performances into wins.

The Saints are on a poor run entering this game. They followed up 2 wins at the start of the season with 4 losses and their stats show a similar story, with their offence ranked just 28th in the league. Their defence has left much to be desired, allowing 34.3 points per game in their last 3.

Both teams are starting rookie quarterbacks which hasn’t boded well for them historically. There is also a chance the Saints’ offense will be without their top two receivers, Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, which will only hinder the Saints chances. I fancy Denver to take the win in what should be a relatively low-scoring affair. Check our Denver Broncos @ New Orleans Saints markets here.

Prediction: Denver Broncos -2.5 @ 1.84

New York Jets (2-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)

The Jets come into this game off the back of 3 consecutive defeats, which included a frustrating 3-point loss Bills last week. New York have recently acquired Devante Adams from the Raiders, who is now reunited with Aaron Rodgers as expectation are now higher for the Jets.

The face a Pittsburgh side who are keeping pace at the top of the AFC North after an impressive 32-13 win over the Raiders last time out. We are likely to see a quarterback change for the Steelers as Justin Fields makes way for Russell Wilson.

It’s hard to predict how Pittsburgh will perform, but its likely they will have a tough time containing Adams and Rodgers. I expect the Jets to have too much fire power here and to comfortably beat their spread. Check our New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers markets here.

Prediction: New York Jets -2.0 @1.93

Baltimore Ravens @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Ravens are in fine form heading into this fixture, having won their last 4. After a stern test from the Commanders last week, they showed their class to see the game out with a 30-23 victory and are looking like one of the best teams in the NFL right now.

For they Buccaneers they were able to bounce back to a tough loss to the Falcons in overtime in week 5 by defeating the Saints in impressive fashion 51-27. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was having a field day, but I suspect he may not have it his own way in this one.

Baltimore has certainly looked the best of the best as of late but Tampa Bay prove a tough match for them if they are to extend their winning streak. I think Tampa Bay are better than most expected but they are not at that elite level yet. I fancy a Ravens win in what should be a high-scoring affair. Prediction: Baltimore Raven -4.5 @2.09
